In his new role, Nichols will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company and managing overall operations, while identifying key areas for Visionael's continued growth in the network management and IT security markets. Nichols replaces Marc Jones, who will be remaining with the company as Chairman and will continue to work closely with the Visionael team, its board and its customers to ensure Visionael's continued success. Nichols is an industry veteran, with over 16 years of experience in executive-level management, research and development, business development, sales and marketing. Prior to joining Visionael, Nichols served as senior vice president of worldwide operations at TRADOS, a leader in globalization management solutions. Nichols has also held executive-level positions at Cap Gemini and Ernst & Young, and served in a strategic marketing role at Hewlett Packard.
