Visionael supports the creation of DSL services via automated workflow to allow rapid flow-through fulfillment of customer orders. Web based interfaces guides the user through a series of tasks, dialogues and actions to implement DSL services, adding the physical equipment and logical circuits to a built-out network infrastructure documented in the Visionael inventory-based network resource management (NRM) system. Finally, the system completes the transaction by activating the defined service.

The following diagram shows how Visionael automates the service delivery process for a G.SHDSL offering targeted at small-to-medium-sized companies. Visionael creates a design for the customer DSL circuit and the transport PVCs across the ATM network, provisioning end-to-end from the customer premise equipment (CPE) to the broadband access server and acting as the gateway to the public network. The circuit designer is freed to focus on the key decisions involved in the service, while built-in business rules effectively manage the complexity of the offering.
